Brett Knox has coached at Ponderosa High since 2017. In 2019 he began coaching Defensive Backs on the Varsity team.
Coach Knox attended Belvidere High School in Illinois where he played football and ran track all four years. During his four years at Belvidere, he was the Track team MVP, All Conference Honorable Mention in Football and All Conference Special Mention in Track.
Coach Knox went on to attend the University of Dubuque where he played football for two years as a Defensive Back while also running track. While at Dubuque, he was Team Track Captain and All Conference 400 Hurdles.
Coach Knox graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Aviation Management with a minors in Flight Operations and Business Administration. He currently works at DIA as a Senior Manager of Airside Operation.
Coach Knox has been married to Megan Knox since 2009 and has a son Colin and daughter Taylor.
