Jason Grizzle – JV Assistant Coach-
Coach Grizzle began coaching as a volunteer for recreational flag football for over 6 years before transitioning to Defensive Coordinator for his son’s Hawks team for three seasons. In addition to football, Coach Grizzle has coached and refereed soccer for over 15 years. When he’s not on the field, Coach Grizzle works as the Senior Environmental and Regulatory Advisor at Suncor Energy.
Coach Grizzle graduated from Bear Creek High School, where he wrestled, played soccer, and was the kicker and a DB for the football team. After graduating, Coach Grizzle attended the University of Northern Colorado, graduating with a degree in Biochemistry.
If Coach Grizzle is not on the field and has any spare time, you can find him on the golf course working on his game there. He also enjoys working on restoring his 1980 Corvette. Jason and his wife Tiffany are parents to three children; their daughter Kaeleigh graduated from Ponderosa in 2021 and is currently studying Performing Arts Education at UNC in Greeley. Their son Cole is currently at Ponderosa and proudly represents Pondo on the Football, Basketball, and Track & Field teams. Their youngest, Kennedy, attends Legacy Point Elementary School.The Grizzles are extremely proud to be a part of the Ponderosa community.
