Lukes begins his time a Ponderosa High School as the Freshman Offensive Coordinator and Offensive and Defensive Lines. He has been Coaching Football for over 2 decades, having stops in both College and High School levels, as well as, coached all three phases of the game. He has been a Coordinator on Offense, Defense and Special Teams, and has been a position coach for Offensive Line, Defensive Line, Linebackers, Running backs, Tight Ends, Safeties and Long snappers.

Playing Career

Lukes was a three year starter at Offensive Guard for the University of Idaho Vandals, before that he was an All Colorado and All State Defensive lineman at Arapahoe High School.

Personal:

Jay and his wife Rebecca live in Franktown and have three children, Shelby, Morgan and Jaymes, as well as, a son in-law Jerome Ervin. He works as a Social Studies Teacher at Littleton High School.
