John Burke- JV Head Coach
Coach John Burke attended Texas State University and earned a degree an Exercise Sports Science. There, he interned for the Texas State University football program while assisting with recruiting efforts. Later, Coach Burke earned a Master’s Degree from American Military University in Sports Management.
Before college, Coach Burke served in the United State Army as a military police officer and protective service agent. He also was deployed in efforts aiding Operation Enduring Freedom while overseas.
Coach Burke’s hobbies include snowboarding, golfing and fishing. This is Coach Burke’s 3rd year at Ponderosa High School.
