Nate Irving, former NFL standout linebacker, joined the Mustangs staff as the Varsity Linebackers coach in the summer of 2018. Nate finished a standout career at NC State and was drafted in the third round by the Denver Broncos, where he spent 4 years and was a starting Linebacker. After 2 years with the Colts, Nate retired and moved to Parker and has already proven to be an excellent addition to the staff.
In 2019, Coach Irving was promoted to Defensive Coordinator, in addition to his duties as Linebacker Coach. He was instrumental in Ponderosa winning another League championship and also was selected as a member of the ACC Hall of Fame.
After a few seasons away, Coach Irving has come back to the Mustangs!
